What is Cosmetic Orthodontic treatment?
Cosmetic orthodontic treatment is a way of straightening or moving teeth, to improve the appearance of the teeth and how they work. It can also help to look after the long-term health of the teeth, gums and jaw joints, by spreading the biting pressure over all the teeth.

Fastbraces® is a revolutionary new orthodontic system provided by our cosmetic dentist Dr Fayaz Ladak. If your teeth are crooked, twisted or misaligned then this could be the treatment for you. Fastbraces® uses advanced technology developed to provide an affordable, fast and safe treatment option to those with mild to severe orthodontic issues.
Dr Ladak has been producing new smiles and straightening teeth using Fastbraces® technology and other popular systems for many years. In April this year, Fastbraces® Technology held their annual Gala dinner in Dallas, Texas, USA, the birthplace of this orthodontic system. Dr Ladak was invited to attend and was awarded the title of ‘Master Affiliate’ for their system, recognising him as an expert provider. This was another very proud moment for Dr Ladak and for us at P.R.Jones and Associates to see our dentist recognised on an international stage.
How do Fastbraces® work?
As you would expect, the main benefit of Fastbraces® is how quickly they can straighten teeth – sometimes in just three months. This is thanks to Fastbraces®’ patented triangular brackets that are designed to move your teeth and roots together – unlike traditional braces that can take around 2 years, which move your teeth first, followed by the roots.
How long will it take?
Fastbraces® patients are able to achieve their perfect smile in around half the time that it would take traditional brace systems. On average it takes from three months to up to a year to move teeth into the desired position.
Additional Benefits
Patients report very little discomfort when undergoing treatment. Fastbraces® treatment can take up to one year, but the majority of cases are completed in only 20 weeks! Not only are Fastbraces® ‘fast braces’, but they are also very discreet, making them a popular choice for our adult patients.
The benefits of Fastbraces®
o Proven results backed by over 20 years of clinical research
o Patented brackets and heat-activated wires move your teeth quickly and safely
o Treatment takes on average between just 3 and 12months

Straightening teeth the quick and easy way with “invisible braces”
Did you once spend years undergoing painful orthodontic treatment and unsightly braces only to see your teeth slowly slip back to their former wonky ways? Are you one of many who are generally unhappy with the alignment of your teeth and longing for a beautiful, straight smile?
Until now, the alternatives to straighten front teeth involved either expensive and long orthodontic treatments or destructive and expensive restorative treatments such as veneers or crowns. Even ultrathin veneers involve heavy reduction of natural teeth when used to align crowding or protrusion.
Dr Fayaz Ladak is proud to provide a leading edge cosmetic dentistry procedure that is taking the UK by storm – The Inman Aligner. This revolutionary concept sees protruding or crowded teeth transformed in a matter of weeks!
So how does it work?
The Inman Aligner is a clear plastic retainer with two spring loaded aligning bars that fit easily over the front four teeth. Unlike a regular brace, the Inman Aligner provides a constant gentle pressure on the teeth, easing them back into place far more quickly.
Apart from its aesthetic benefits, the Inman Aligner is easy to use and can be inserted and removed at any time, allowing eating, brushing (and kissing) to continue as normal. Once teeth have moved to the desired position, a very discreet retainer holds them in place, so they remain in their new position.
During the first consultation, an impression is made of the teeth and in the second, teeth are smoothed to make room for movement and the aligner fitted. For the duration of the treatment bi-weekly visits are required to review and adjust the aligner.
Only certified Inman Aligner dentists can provide them. Dr Fayaz Ladak of PR Jones and Associates Dental Practice has achieved this certification and provides Inman Aligners, here in Pontefract, West Yorkshire.
NimroDental Invisible orthodontic aligner system uses the latest technology on UK dental market. NimroDental Clear Aligners give you the straight smile you want when you really don’t want to have brackets and wires attached to your teeth. Teeth straightening known as Orthodontics traditionally uses metal brackets and wires to straighten your teeth. Clear braces are becoming very popular, particulalrly for adults. One of the latest systems is the NimroDental Clear Aligner system.
What are Clear Aligners?
The Clear Aligner system is a popular form of orthodontic treatment designed to straighten teeth relatively simply and in small increments. Usually, a number of aligners will be required to achieve your ideal smile. The number necessary is reliant upon the complexity of your case, straight forward cases can be completed with only two or three aligners but can range from 1 to 20 aligners.
What are the benefits of using Clear Aligners?
Clear Aligners are almost invisible, thin and very easy to wear, an attractive alternative to wired braces. Speech is not impeded during treatment and you will be able to brush and floss your teeth normally. They are ideal for adults who wish to solve simple relapses and those who do not wish to use veneers or crowns. Simply, Clear Aligners are for adults who covet an improved smile.
What is the process of using Clear Aligners?
Once you and your dentist have discussed treatment with Clear Aligners, impressions will be taken of your teeth and sent to the lab along with a lab sheet outlining the proposed treatment. Once received, the models are scanned and a sequence of plastic aligners are produced on printed models of the final alignment.
May I wear Clear Aligners straight away?
In certain cases, space needs to be created before treatment with clear aligners. This is accomplished by using separate arch expanders. Once the required space has been achieved, the aligners can then be manufactured and worn. During treatment, space may also need to be created between the teeth by carrying out Interproximal Reduction. This technique involves mechanically removing some of the outer tooth surface, called enamel. Your dentist should inform you before treatment if expansion or IPR are necessary.
How long do I wear each aligner for?
Each aligner should be worn for approximately two weeks, at the direction of your dentist. After this period the aligner should become loose, at which point it will be time for the next aligner. The Clear Aligners are sequentially numbered so you and your dentist will know which aligner in the package needs to be fitted next.
